November 2017 –Ingram Micro U.K & Ireland are delighted to announce their new Cisco Advanced Security accreditation. The need for Security across all verticals and solutions has never been more important with the advent of malware, ransomware and global Cyber-attacks. Ingram Micro is prioritizing security and has invested in Virtual Security Operations Centre (VSOC) to deliver on their commitment to build a strong Cybersecurity division. Alongside this, Ingram Micro has invested in ensuring the right certifications to support and enable partner communities, demonstrated in their Cisco Advanced Security certification.
For Ingram Micro’s Cisco Sales team, passing the Advanced Security accreditation means that they are able to deliver and accelerate Security business with partners. Building on a solid foundation, the sales team is now equipped to deliver Cisco’s solutions and technologies with Advanced Security. VSOC is a significant addition to this foundation, and further enables and strengthens Ingram Micro’s Cybersecurity division.
Channel partners will be enabled with the correct skills, technologies, tech support and solutions necessary to ensure their businesses are Cyber Secure. Cisco is making multiple investments via acquisition in this space. Security is a fragmented market and being able to offer Security Services alongside the specific Cisco certifications gives Ingram an unique offering and opportunity to deliver expertise to joint partners.
