13 September 2016

Comms-care has extended its multimillion-pound deal with KCOM which will see it provide support to KCOM's Cisco partners for a further five years.

The deal, which was initially announced in July 2014 for three years, sees Comms-care provide support to 6,000 Cisco end-user sites across sectors including financial services, manufacturing and the public sector.

Sean Royce, executive vice president for technology, service and operations at KCOM, said: "KCOM and Comms-care share the same values and have the same commitment to customers.

"Cisco technology remains an important element of the range of contact and collaboration solutions we offer and the quality of product and service from Comms-care, combined with the attitude of all its team, made the decision to extend the contract a very simple one."

Cisco Gold partner Comms-care, was acquired by Ingram Micro in May this year and claims to have 800 channel partners.

"We work hard across the whole business to ensure our service proposition is aligned to the needs of all our customers and signing high-value multi-year contracts and retaining strong relationships such as this is the result of that commitment," said Robert Darby, sales director of Comms-care.

"KCOM is a high-profile company and one we are proud to be in partnership with. It continues to be a big year for Comms-care and our reputation as the leading strategic IT support partner to the channel continues to grow."
